Anniversary.Ai is a wedding planner app published by OpenEducation. This page explains exactly what the app and this website store, who else handles it, and how to delete it. There are no ads in the app, and we do not sell or rent anyone’s data.
No account needed
The app does not ask for an email address, phone number or password. When you start planning, your phone creates a random device key. Our server keeps only a one-way hash of that key, so the key itself never sits on the server. Your partner joins with a six-character code, which works once and expires after seven days.
What is stored on our server

| Wedding plan | Names of the couple, wedding date, tasks, budget, vendors, guest list and households, and settings, so both partners see the same plan on two phones. If you import contacts into the guest list, the names and phone numbers you choose are stored with that list. |
| Published invitation | The text, date, venue, photos and, for premium, the gift QR code and bank details you add. Anyone with the link can open it. Invitation pages are marked so search engines do not list them. |
| Guest replies | When a guest replies on the invitation, we store the name they type, whether they are coming and how many people. Messages for the couple store a name and the message, and they appear on the invitation until the couple hides them. |
| Photos | Images you upload for the invitation, up to 5 MB each. |
| AI writer usage | The date, the type of text and the length of the request and reply, so we can apply the free and premium limits. We do not keep the text you type or the text that comes back. |
| Purchases | The Google Play purchase token and order number, to confirm premium. Payment itself is handled by Google, and we never see card details. |
| Abuse protection | Short-lived counters made from a scrambled (hashed) form of the visitor’s IP address, to stop spam on RSVP and messages. The raw IP address is not stored, and counters reset within 24 hours. |
| App opens | An anonymous count of app opens and days since install, with no identifier attached, so we know whether people keep using the app. |
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the website, the database and the photos.
- OpenRouter passes AI writer requests to the language model provider (Google Gemini, with DeepSeek as a backup). Only the details you type into the AI writer are sent.
- Google Play processes payments.
Nobody else receives your data, and none of it is used for advertising.
Deleting your data
In the app, Settings has an option to delete the wedding, which removes the plan, guest replies, messages, photos and the invitation from our server straight away. The couple can also take an invitation down at any time, and the link stops working. Guests who want their reply or message removed can ask the couple, or email us at contact@neworganizing.com.
Children
The app is made for adults planning a wedding and is not directed at children under 13.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Device keys are stored only as hashes, and invitation links use random codes that cannot be guessed from the couple’s names.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Questions go to contact@neworganizing.com, and we reply from that address.
